The 30's pioneer returns as a powerful electric aerobat!

Its looks and construction were daring — the Ryan STA was one of the first low-wing planes ever designed and featured an all-aluminum airframe. The performance was so good that Tex Rankin flew a stock version to a first-place finish in the International Aerobatic Competition of '37. Great Planes' all-wood Ryan STA EP kit combines the original's classic curves with powerful electric performance for a first-class R/C sport flying experience.Balsa sheeting easily recreates the original's oval fuselage and provides an ideal surface for finishing. Offers snappy aerobatic performance plus the convenience of clean, quiet electric power. Dual aileron servos boost precision and authority, as well as simplifying set-up. Semi-symmetrical, NACA 2412 wing enhances aerobatic capabilities and contributes to smooth, stable handling. Wide-stance main landing gear and steerable tailwheel make ground handling stable yet maneuverable.
